DESCRIPTION The *ESR? query reads and clears the contents

of the Event Status Register (ESR). The

response represents the sum of the binary

values of the register bits 0 to 7.

QUERY SYNTAX *ESR?

RESPONSE FORMAT *ESR <value>

<value> : = 0 to 255

EXAMPLE The following instruction reads and clears the

contents of the ESR register:
